How to play

Every legal four-way slide compacts the 4×4 board and merges adjacent equal numbers once per move.
Only a slide that changes the board spawns a new tile: 2 with 90% weight or 4 with 10% weight.
Each merge adds the newly created tile value to your score; reaching 2048 unlocks victory with optional endless play.
The round ends only when all sixteen cells are occupied and no orthogonal neighbour shares a value.
