Truco
Forty-card deck with crooked hierarchy and high-stakes Truco raises.
Forty cards, a tilted ranking, and nerve. Play Truco with a friend over one link — no download or account.
How to play
- Every 8, 9, and 10 is stripped from the deck, leaving the 40-card Spanish-style pack.
- The ranking is deliberately crooked: 4♠ is the strongest card, then 4♣, then 7♥ and 7♦; 4♥ and 4♦ are the weakest.
- Cards inside one tier are exactly equal — such a tie is called a parda and reshuffles who wins.
- French suits stand in for Spanish ones: spades are Espadas and clubs are Bastos.
