About Forehead Frenzy
Forehead Frenzy brings fast-paced party charades straight to your web browser. One player places the phone against their forehead while friends describe the secret word appearing on the screen.
Five distinct decks provide plenty of variety, spanning tech jargon, movie tropes, animals, everyday actions and delicious foods. Decks shuffle without replacement so every word in a round is unique.
Built-in device motion detection lets you nod down for a hit or tip the phone back to pass. On laptops and tablets without sensors, large on-screen tap zones and keyboard keys offer the same fast input.
FAQ
How many people are required to play?
At least two players are needed: one person to hold the screen and guess, and one or more teammates to provide clues.
Can I play without motion or tilt sensors?
Yes. Tap controls activate automatically on desktop browsers and devices without tilt sensors. Tap the lower half to score and the upper half to pass, or use the Down and Up arrow keys.
Why does iOS require permission for motion controls?
Safari on Apple devices requires a user interaction before granting access to motion sensors. Tapping enable tilt controls unlocks nod detection directly in your local browser.
Are high scores saved across sessions?
Your best score for each individual word deck is automatically stored in local browser storage, allowing you to track records between rounds.
Can a word repeat within the same round?
No. The game shuffles the selected deck and draws without replacement. If your team gets through the entire deck before the clock runs out, the round simply ends there.
